Unique Equines are creatures that are not traditional, yet the Equine anatomy still shows. Some examples would be an Equine with paws instead of hooves, or an Equine with off-the-wall markings or an Equine with fire as its mane and tail... The list is endless, and the sky is the limit!
ProjectPorkchop was created in an effort to reach more deviants on a long term basis.
ProjectPorkchop showcases weekly features of artists the group believes could use far more exposure
to their art than they are currently receiving. Anyone is welcome to join, no matter how much exposure your art gets or how advanced your artistic skills may be.
Equine-Artists-List is a group for the purpose of listing equine artists on dA.
Making it easier to connect with other equine artists or to find the type of equine art/artist you are looking for.

StaffAppreciation is happy to announce the first deviantART Staff Appreciation Week-related contest of 2012!
The deviantART Staff Appreciation Week (dASAW) kicked off with a bang in its first year (2011) and the response was overwhelming. Our goal is to promote positive community relations between deviants. We do this by creating relationships between the staff and the community, and by showing the staff that we really do appreciate all of their hard work! Anyone can participate in our events and contests!
This contest is a little different from normal because the dASAW hasn't begun yet! For this, anyone can enter, and this is the theme: submit your ideas for a great dA
deviantART Staff Appreciation Week Team of 2012 Volunteers
dASAW 2012: This Year's Volunteers Are...I am very happy to announce this year's deviantART Staff Appreciation Week team of volunteers. These are the awesome deviants who will be collaborating until August to bring you a dASAW that you won't soon forget!
I would like to cover a few things before I announce the selected deviants:
A total of 25 deviants applied for this year's dASAW! (every application was reviewed individually )In total, 68% of the applicants DID NOT help with last year's dASAW, while 32% did!If you are not selected, that does not mean you are excluded. There is limited space (10 spots) for volunteers, and unfortunately the decision is difficult when you need to cut 15 people. You will still be able to participate even if you are not a volunteer, and we might even ask you for your input or for some help later in the process! ;D
Thank you again! Here are our volunteers this year.
